Turner

Jacob Mallord An English Romantic painter, printmaker, and watercolourist, William Turner RA was also known as William Turner throughout his lifetime. His vivid colorizations, imaginative landscapes, and stormy, frequently violent maritime paintings are well renowned.

Turner is referred to be the first modern artist since many contemporary artists were influenced by his chaotic, expressive technique and vibrant colours. His latest works frequently resemble impressionist paintings. This was a painting style that emerged in France many years after Turner finished his work.

The Moulin Rouge

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, a French artist, created the poster La Goulue. It is a colour lithograph from 1891 that promotes the renowned dancers La Goulue and "No-Bones" Valentin as well as the brand-new Moulin Rouge nightclub in Paris. It was probably printed in roughly 3,000 copies.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, a fellow countryman of Cheret, is also well known for creating iconic posters for the renowned Moulin Rouge variety shows in Paris. He spent nearly every evening drawing the excitement of the lavish nightlife in the Montmartre theatre.

Impressionism

The term "Impressionism" refers to a painting movement that originated in France in the middle to late 19th century. Characteristics of the movement include unblended colour, an emphasis on the accurate representation of natural light, and small, visible brushstrokes that offer the bare impression of form.

Static harmony, an emphasis on instrumental timbres that produces a shimmering interplay of "colours," melodies that lack directed motion, surface ornamentation that hides or replaces melody, and a rejection of conventional musical form are examples of elements that are frequently referred to as impressionistic.

The Advertising Poster

A miniature or enlarged reproduction of any poster, placard, video slick, photograph, or other visual representation intended for use in promoting or exhibiting a film to the general public is included in an advertising poster.

Printmakers and lithographers were first in charge of early poster design. But when client expectations for quality rose, they were unable to keep up, and more and more artists were employed to create posters as well. The father of the contemporary poster is the French artist Jules Cheret. In 1866, he established his own lithography workshop, and during the next 40 years, he produced almost 1,200 posters.

Even today, museums and theatres still commission posters from artists with intricate designs, but since the 1920s, the emphasis has been on advertising, with the brand and the product taking the place of ostentatious adornment, according to curator Rene Grohnert.

Eedweard Muybridge

In 1879, Muybridge created the zoopraxiscope, a device that allowed him to display up to 200 distinct images on a screen. He became known as the "father of motion pictures" when, in 1880, he offered his first audience a projection of moving images on a screen at the California School of Fine Arts.

Although he was a pioneer in landscape photography, Eadweard Muybridge is most recognised for his photographic studies of human and animal motion. Carleton E., a landscape photographer, hired Muybridge to work for him.

Medardo Rosso

Italian sculptor Medardo Rosso (1858–1928) rebelled against the dominant classic and romantic ideologies of 19th-century sculpture, becoming one of the first truly contemporary sculptors. The art of Rosso is considered to be Impressionist, as well as somewhat related to Realism, Symbolism, and Expressionism.

The Futurist

Neo impressionism and cubism were incorporated into futurist paintings to produce compositions that reflected the dynamism, energy, and movement of contemporary life. Futurists such as Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, and Gino Severini were prominent artists.

Early 20th-century creative movement known by several names, including Italian Futurismo, Russian Futurizm, and Futurism, which placed an emphasis on the dynamism, speed, energy, and force of machines as well as the vitality, change, and restlessness of contemporary existence.
