Educational Technology Timeline

This is a winding timeline of Educational Technology. The use of computer hardware, software, and educational theory and practice to assist learning is known as educational technology (abbreviated as edutech or edtech). When edtech is used as an abbreviation, it refers to the industry of firms that develop educational technology. Educational technology is based on theoretical knowledge from numerous fields such as communication, education, psychology, sociology, artificial intelligence, and computer science, in addition to practical educational experience. It spans a number of fields, including learning theory, computer-based training, online learning, and m-learning (mobile learning). Educational technology has gone through a long development process.
