MindMap Gallery Theory of Change
Explore our progressive roadmap to creating a greener, more sustainable campus with the "Theory of Change - Possible Prototypes Considered" initiative. Our strategic plan encompasses engaging social media campaigns, comprehensive data collection about campus gardens, and the development of web and mobile applications to foster environmental consciousness. We are driving local public school involvement and creating inviting spaces for study within nature, strengthening community ties and promoting ecological stewardship. Our project phases include interactive planting days, educational courses for new members, and virtual renderings of our envisioned garden spaces.

One of the excective roles in the club will be the engagement director and they one of there major role will be to deal with conflict between members in a productive and respectful manner
One of the excective roles in the club will be the role of aboriginal land representative
People that identity as aboriginal do not feel that they are being heard as it is there land
Create a club that values inclusion and collaboration bettween different thought disciplines
3. The site which we hope to work on is the university of newcastle and association we want to work with UNSA both already has a solid ethical policies establish that require these clubs already to value equality and other opinions.

1. Climate change is understood as a moral and gobal problem that will effect everyone and from all different cultures. Understanding climate change this way the logical solution is to involve everyone who wants to make a difference. So we are going to use the fact that climate change effect everyone into a possitive.
If we disengage with poeple who historical don't agree with certain scientific concepts or think differently to the typical scientific approach by the "white man" we loss a sense of diversity that could show an insight that could completely change how we approach the concept of climate change.
The first poeple and the knowledge of land they use inform there world view
People who use mystical knowledge such as disciplines of theology and religious studies. Includes poeple who identify with as christians, muslisms and more
Perceptions of people who use different knowledge as major sources of way to understand the world than science
Change the way the university looks at clubs in terms of how much value they can add to the university as a huge
In the club make the role of executives within the club to be responsible to continuously looking into more connections
Conflict arise
Work with UNSA and the university to take advantage of there contacts and make them aware of there project before it begins.
have an public available plan of time allocation for transition
Survey students that are involved with the club
Create 10 posters in spots with high traffic at the university before the launch of the project
Survey the population after the project has began after 5 weeks to see if the results differ using the survey as a baseline
Talk with a staff member and already have there support before the launch of the project
Specific preconditions
Create connections between institutes with power so individuals are heard and really create change
By educating poeple they only get less empowered because of the state of the world
Create a club that explore personal responsiblities and looks at how individuals can effect government as education can be seen as a way of empowerment
Create a club that looks at climate change by focusing on student engagment
3. The effects of feeling disenfranchisement is a very well documented effect and there is alot of existing research
2. Evidence of empowerment programs working in the past
1. The UON already has empower programs produced by UNSA and CareerHub, and we have access to look at them or join them as students.
If a individuals are feeling disenfranchised towards climate change they are less likely to want to do something about it.
Give a sense of empowerment to individuals
Climate change is a large concept that has real implication that is quite scary so a valid human reaction is to ignore it
Individuals feel like they can't contribute to problem because they feel powerless
Doesn't feel personal because it's an emgeracy that occuring over a long period so it's no longer "new" and as a society we are obsessed with the newest thing
Individual feeling as they are disenfranchisement towards climate change
Have the club student run so promot an feeling of connection to the cause
Create a positive association with climate change
Create a new apprication for science and it's process
Influence student culture towards climate change
Change to the culture of secuity in how they look at electrical energy
have a forcasting estimate of cost to show our dedication to the idea
Focus in the univserity that talking about sustainablily doesn't just have research association but also association of the need to education
Have a slow transition so secuity can slowly get used to the process
6. Have an existing relationship with head of secuity who has local knowledge
Project a positive brand association
Create poster that has everyday appeal and feature people smiling and having fun
Lack of engagement of staff on transition to elecctric
5. Evidence of governments opinion being change by public opinion in the past
4. Use rhectoric that is already employed in the media and other influences of opinion to appeal to poeple about having a positive connotation of climate change
3. On the internet there are free resources about making communication in science enjoyable and well as already conducted research
